Our Story
After years in the construction industry, Gavnat President and CEO, Jim Pierce, started working as an adjuster on behalf of the insurance companies, collaborating alongside roofing contractors. Eventually Jim transitioned to the role of an adjuster working to protect property owners and found his passion. When Minnesota law changed and the role of adjusters representing individuals became a licensed position by statute, he was first in line. Utilizing his years of construction and insurance experience, Jim set off to define an entirely new industry of Licensed Public Adjusters working to advocate for the rights of policyholders. What began as a passion project for Jim, has now grown into a thriving business of driven and successful employees now known as Gavnat and Associates.
Jim ensures that at Gavnat and Associates, every employee understands how difficult dealing with a disaster can be and dedicates their time to alleviating the stress of dealing with insurance companies after the fact. We put our knowledge and experience to work to ensure that every client gets what they need to put their home or business back together after a storm, fire, pipe leak, or anything in-between.
